Mulled Mead in two glasses with decorative orange peel

Mulled Mead

Perfect for a cold winter's night.

750ml Mead

2 cardamon pods

1/2 tsp all spice

1 cinnamon stick (not powder)

2 cloves

1 whole nutmeg

Thumb size piece of ginger (not powder)

3 thin slices of orange with rind

Optional: 1 tbsp brandy

Add mead to saucepan with all ingredients and very slowly gently heat through - never let it start boiling (otherwise you will have a sour brew). Keep it nice and warm and ENJOY.

Can put all spices and fruit in a cheese cloth or just use a strainer once finished.

Slither of lemon peel

Add mead and ginger beer to saucepan and gently warm. Once ready to drink, add lemon juice and lemon peel if desired.

Meadmosa in glass with strawberries and breakfast pastries

Meadmosa

Perfect for a hot summer's day.

1 cup Sparkling Mead

60ml orange juice

Optional: splash of Cointreau liqueur

Fresh fruit

Pour the mead into a champagne flute. Add the orange juice and a splash of the orange Cointreau for a nice added kick. Garnish with fresh fruit. We usually prefer sliced oranges and strawberries.

We recommend 2WS Yellow Box Champa or K12 - two meads that will pair nicely with the orange juice and give you a different but equally delicious results.
